Frequently asked questions

There is a wide range of different impregnated activated carbons. Which type of impregnation is optimal for your application depends on many different factors. Simply ask our UNICARB® experts.

The impregnated UNICARB® activated carbons bind pollutants that are otherwise not or only slightly adsorbable through a mechanism called chemisorption. This differs from physisorption in that it has stronger binding forces.

The impregnated UNICARB® activated carbons bind various acidic and alkaline gases, for example. But other substances can also be adsorbed under certain circumstances. Simply ask our UNICARB® experts.
